This is a no-frills, BYOE (bring your own everything) club social event.  This is a family friendly event. Summer is hot, but floating on the Boise River is cool.  Arrange to bring, borrow or rent your own flotation vessel and life jacket. Floaters are required to have a life jacket on board for every person, children under 14 are required to wear the life jacket while floating. A paddle is very helpful for steering and pushing away from obstacles. You can often buy an inexpensive inflatable tube/boat/kayak cheaper than the rentals at Big Five and Walmart. We will park near the playground at Ann Morrison near the take out / shuttle location by 4:30 PM and take the 5 pm shuttle ($3 cash on your own) with our deflated tubes to the put in at Barber.  Note, the shuttles leave every hour. If you miss it the next one is not until 6 pm! So please arrive early if you may need extra time to find your way. Bring your own pump to inflate at Barber, there are no air stations. We can share some pumps, but the more pumps the faster we get on the river. Option to mosey on over to Payette for a post float nightcap.
